About Classic Stone Works

Classic Stone Works, Inc. started fifteen years ago as Classic Tile & Marble with only two employees, Eric Guinn and Cliff Hughes.  Classic Tile & Marble was primarily a tile installation business.  As the business grew, office space and personnel were needed.  Debbie Guinn came on as the office manager and sales representative along with two other office employees and another install crew.  With the strengthening ties to the construction industry the request for natural stone countertops began.  With no fabrication shops in our area at the time, we began traveling to Asheville to fulfill our clients’ needs.

After a few years, the decision was made to purchase our own fabrication equipment and set up shop in Banner Elk, North Carolina.  With this addition came the need for more employees and a name change; Classic Tile & Marble became Classic Stone Works, Inc.

As the business grew, the owners, Eric and Debbie Guinn, decided to relocate their business and employees to a more permanent location, bringing them to Linville, North Carolina.  The continued growth allowed for more employees and an expanded service area.

As of 2009, Classic Stone Works, Inc has a 15,000 square foot showroom and fabrication shop, the largest slab yard in the High Country and employs 30 wonderful people.  Our customer service is top priority and we greatly appreciate those who have made our business a success.
