Classic Stone Works, Inc. was incorporated in 2001 when it was combined with Classic Tile & Marble. Original owners Eric and Debbie Guinn established CT&M along with Cliff Hughes in 1996, concentrating on tile sales and installation while allowing granite fabrication to be provided from a company off the mountain. With traveling up and down the mountain was becoming a hardship and the need for a local granite fabrication shop becoming more prevalent, the Guinns took the opportunity of buying a failing granite company’s equipment and rented a warehouse in Banner Elk, NC. The company quickly outgrew the small shop and showroom and seized another opportunity to buy land in the Linville area. Erecting a better, more complete, and larger building in 2004. In 2006 two more additions were made, one for the growing fabrication department, the other, housing a plumbing showroom. With the plumbing showroom, Classic Stone Works, Inc.’s clients have the opportunity to experience “one stop shopping” at its finest! Getting your granite or marble countertops, the tile for your walls or floors, and the plumbing fixtures for your house under one roof!  Within 10 years, Classic Stone Works, Inc. has grown from three employees to nearly thirty!
