Quartz countertops are man-made created by combining natural quartz and minerals with chemical resins and pigments. They are relatively stain-free, easy to maintain, and each slab is produced consistently so it can make the selection process easier. Quartz is not heat resistant though so take precaution with hot pots and pans by using coasters and trivets.
